kinda late
This happened last month but it is still important. In the first round of the NBA draft the Phoenix Suns drafted
Markieff Morris from the Kansas Jayhawks. His brother Marcus was drafted in the next pick by Houston.
And the all great Kemba Walker of UConn was chosen 9th by the Charlotte Bobcats. The Trailblazers got the all talented Nolen Smith of Duke at #21. The #1 choice was Duke's Kyrie Erving who went to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

2-2
Yesterday, the Buffalo Sabres and the Philadelphia Flyers played game 4 in the Stanley Cup Quarter Finals.
There wasn't much action accept in the first period when Sabres forward, Jason Pominville, redirected a pass from teamate, Rob Niedermayer, and that goal stood till the end. Next game friday, puck drop at 7:30.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday my dad and I watched Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Pllayoffs: Philly Flyers vs. Buffalo Sabres.
The series was tied 1-1. The Flyers center, Jeff Carter, scored the 1st goal early at 4:42 in the 1st period, 1-0,but Sabres right wing, Drew Stafford, would come back, with a nice slap shot, to get an equalizer at 11:55, 1-1.
Second Period: at 2:44 Flyer center, Danny Briere(former Sabre), would catch Sabres goalie, Ryan Miller, off balance and flick one into the top of the net, 2-1. Flyers right wing, Nikolay Zherdev, would redirect a pass by Flyers center, Brad Richards, to score another one at 16:44, 3-1, but the Sabres weren't about to give up just yet as Sabres left wing, Nathan Gerbie, would shoot one on a rebound to the side of Flyers goalie, Brian Boucher, at 18:12, 3-2. Third period: not much action but the Sabres with one more chance would pull their goalie, Ryan Miller, and Kimmo Timonin would score on an empty net, 4-2. Overall the Sabres did have alot of power plays even a 5 on 3 but they could only take advantage of one, because of bad passing and sloppy handling. My dad did point out that the Flyers cheated, and they said this on the screen, that in one of the penalties the officials were trying to get the clock right and in the NHL rules it says that there can be no subs during a stopage of play, but the Flyers would switch one of there players. The officials apparently didn't see it. Oh well. ;P Now the Flyers lead the series 2-1. Next game tomorrow puck drop at 7:30.
